Magnani Poultry
A wide variety of chickens, whole or in parts, is only
the beginning here. They also have a small selection of high-quality meats, a
wide variety of chicken sausages, and other sausages. They offer fully roasted
chickens all day long.
Above all, they have duck legs! These make duck easy,
for both cook and diner. See our recipe for Wine-Baked Duck. We know of no
other source for these valuable duck legs.
Everything here is top quality. If it weren’t
distinctly better than supermarket quality, Magnani wouldn’t have it.
Magnani is no longer at 1586 Hopkins Street. They have
moved just down the street to larger quarters vacated by Made to Order. They
have all the old good things, plus more. You can buy a variety of olives by the
piece, frozen gnocchi, and more. Check it out.
