New crop coffees from Costa Rica, Panama, and Guatemala are now
available at Peet's, both website and stores.
Peet's describes these as follows:
"New crop coffees are at their peak of
flavor shortly after the beans are harvested. Their fresh, lively
flavors tingle on the tongue, and all their spicy, fruity, and chocolaty
flavors are sharply focused. The coffee harvesting season is one of long
hours and hard work as large quantities of the fruit of the coffee trees
ripen. It's important to pick and process the fruit at the peak of
ripeness."
